Mormon Faith Crisis Support Through Hypnotherapy

You didn’t lose your faith.
You outgrew a version of God too small to hold you.

The Reversal

You didn’t lose your faith.
You outgrew a version of God too small to hold you.

What if doubt is not a crisis? — it’s your own voice, finally getting loud enough to hear?

You were taught to be worthy of your privileges — as if worthiness was something to earn,
Sunday by Sunday,
lesson by lesson,
measured against the Church’s Handbook of Instruction for how to conduct ourselves in every calling,
every auxiliary,
every step of our life.

That worthiness was something to be sought for and achieved — it was something a man got to decide — in private interviews, determining whether you qualified for blessings that were supposed to be yours all along.

Your worthiness was never something to qualify for.
You were worthy the moment you took your first breath.

Remembered

We were passed from program to program as we aged — Primary to Young Women to Relief Society — absorbing a little more conditioning at each level,
until one day we were the ones standing in front of a classroom,
passing those same conditioned ideas of worthiness down to the next generation of girls,
and reinforcing it in ourselves.

Your worth isn’t contingent — and it was never meant to be eternal in the ways they told you.

Your privileges were never truly locked behind priesthood authority.
They were locked behind a male narrative that God lived outside of you,
requiring your obedience.

As we clear the conditioning,
those privileges don’t get earned — they get remembered.

Your Mirror

Modesty.
Worthiness interviews.
The 10% that stood between you and the temple — the price of admission to your own salvation.
Who you still get to call family in the next life if you keep your covenants,
tying your salvation to everyone else’s.

You didn’t choose those rules — you were born into them.
Now the part of you that was warned never to question
is facing the cognitive dissonance between your gut and the truth claims you inherited.

I won’t hand you a new set of answers
to replace the old ones.
That’s not what you need from me,
and honestly, it’s not mine to give.

What I can offer
is space for you to hear — maybe for the first time — what actually feels aligned
in your own body,
your own gut,
your own knowing.

Your shift

You’re allowed to still be figuring it out.
You’re allowed to land somewhere different next year than where you land this year.
That’s not instability.
That’s not being blown about by every wind of doctrine.
That’s just what it looks like to finally be the one steering.

Those rules, they kept you safe.
Now they’re keeping you small.

Funny thing about trance — you were in it LONG before you ever met a hypnotherapist.
Sacrament meeting.
The temple.
General conferences.
Turns out the Church had you in trance for years.

And now it’s time to clear the noise
and trust — your own core.

Room for Men

There’s definitely room for men here, but because I’m a woman it’s way easier for me to speak from a woman’s perspective,
and in the spirit of full disclosure, while I removed my name from the records of the church in May of 22, my husband is still an active believing member of the church
so I don’t have firsthand experience of walking next to a man who is deconditioning in a Faith transition.

But what I do know men is —
You’ve paid for peace in your own home with pieces of yourself.
Your voice.
Your opinion.
Your right to say “hell no, I’m not doing that.”

Choosing that wasn’t wrong or right.
It just wasn’t your natural blueprint.

I don’t see the natural man as something to put off.
I see him as who you were always meant to be — and that might not align with the church’s blueprint of a righteous man.
I’ve even wondered if they made all those requirements up.

You weren’t just told to protect her.
You were told — her salvation was on you.
And that was never your job.
Not really.

Who would’ve known the “covenant path” was standing between you and your family?

Real strength isn’t holding them to the path.
It’s holding the space steady while they find their own.

Don’t you wish you could just press reset — clear the noise, and finally trust your core?

Hypnotherapy can often work alongside your current mental healthcare provider as a complementary resource in a faith transition.
And unlike talk therapy, we go straight for the patterns and emotions actually blocking you.

Hypnosis works like a system update for your phone.
And in addition to bug fixes and new features
Imagine deleting those old belief apps from your body and mind — and all the data that goes with it.
Visualize what life would be like if we deleted the guilt app.

Guilt for wanting a sip of coffee, going shopping on Sunday, or seeing a rated R movie.
We were told we come here to get a body and have experiences — and then we’re told what experiences not to have with that body.

Don’t you wish you could just press reset — clear the noise, and finally trust the core of who you are?

If you don’t want to change any of this, that’s your business, but if you do want to grow that’s my business.

Invest in yourself by scheduling a 20 minute $20 consultation
and if you book with me we’ll apply that $20 to your first session
and if you don’t book with me, I’ll refund $19 at the end of the appointment
so all that will have cost you, is a dollar.
